Defence secretary meets with Turkish and Saudi counterparts

Defence secretary John Healey has met with his counterparts in Türkiye and Saudi Arabia to further defence cooperation.

During the meetings in Ankara and Riyadh, Healy reaffirmed the UK's commitment to global security and securing a ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon.

In Ankara, Healy and his counterpart Yaşar Güler, reaffirmed plans to work together towards greater military cooperation and pursue a joint strategy for industry, providing significant opportunities for mutual growth and security.  

In Riyadh, Healy met with defence minister HRH Prince Khalid bin Salman (KbS), and the minister for the National Guard Abdullah bin Bandar.
